Through the Fire

Inspired by a Beautiful Campfire made by my Husband.


I have been blessed with the talent to draw , to become inspired by the littlest things , as simple as a campfire. The last week of August we went upstate to celebrate my husband's birthday. On one of our peaceful , relaxing evenings he made this beautifully warm campfire , in which my ( M4 ) my children enjoyed roasting marshmallows and absorbing the cool night air. I watched as the flames grew bigger , the changing hues of red , orange , yellow and blue. The comfort of being in the presence of my family , the joy and the laughter that followed and within me a little burst of imagination and inspiration grew. I went in the house , grabbed my sketchbook and black marker and let my lines languidly flow .... and created this  ..... oh , so effortlessly . I love when I can draw like this !!!!
